We harness all of our cables with a braid of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) sleeving in order to reinforce them in areas such as tensile strength, chemical degradation, UV radiation, and abrasion resistance. This beautiful finish allows for color customization, grip, and is 100% knot-free.

In the trillionth scale of a farad (capacity to store 1 volt), our cables feature between 28 to 47 picofarads per foot, making capacitance almost negligible. Meanwhile, other "pro instrument cables" measure roughly up to 60 picofarads (pF) per foot, which is still a very small number, but it more than doubles the most detrimental parameter in an instrument cable, compared to our best contenders.

You shouldn't. In theory, the purpose of an amp-cab (speaker) cable is to deliver a signal in the quickest and most energy efficient way possible from your amplifier to the cabinet, and for this, an unshielded, thick, & low-resistance speaker cable is necessary. As opposed to a high-impedance, shielded instrument cable, which protects and controls the sound incoming from your instrument by preventing RF & EM interference, overloads, and other risks of noise.

Our silent connectors use a unique 360º precision sliding helical spring contact design to quietly and automatically switch the signal circuit safely on & off of ground during instrument changes. In other words, your cable works when it is plugged-in, and it mutes as soon as it is unplugged. This simple blue switch avoids annoying thumps, pops and squeals when unplugging your instrument. Also, this feature found only in our Gold and NDP series, self-cleans every time the plug is connected, preventing excessive build ups of oxidization and contamination. Once a connection is established, the sonic difference can’t be possibly perceived by the human ear. However, chemically speaking, gold has a very high standard reduction potential. This means that there are far less substances in nature that will corrode Gold than ones that can corrode Nickel (hence the value of gold). Other than monetary, the difference between nickel plated copper and gold plated copper is rather cosmetic and to a very small degree, qualitative.
